We follow a specific instruction and assessment, otherwise known as personalized learning or simply differentiated instruction. It is a new framework for effective personal teaching that allows us to give personalized feedback to students about their performance. We rely on the understanding that students’ individual differences will lead to better understanding and increased retention of information and knowledge that they already possess. Although this might sound simple, it has been established that it has a very high effect on student achievement and performance, which is attributed to students getting more value for their time and being made to become accountable for their performances.

Our framework emphasizes the value of individual differences in teaching and clarifies that teachers cannot afford to assume that every student has the same learning capacity. Therefore, the challenge is for teachers to design differentiated learning environments in which teachers and students can work together to identify the learning needs of particular students and develop personalized learning plans that will meet those needs.
